The 2022 Ford Maverick is America's first pickup truck with
a standard fully hybrid engine. A compact truck, the Maverick seats five and
provides a 4.5-foot, customizable FLEXBED™ with six standard tie-down spots;
two standard, pre-wired, twelve-volt electrical leads; and a multi-position tailgate.
With the tailgate extended, the bed expands to 6 feet.
Unique Features
With the 2022 Maverick, you have choices. You can choose
between the 2.5L full-hybrid engine with a continuously variable transmission
(CVT) or the 2.0L EcoBoost engine with Intelligent All-Wheel Drive.
You also have four models from which to choose -- the value-focused Maverick
XL, the Maverick XLT with its next-level upgrades, the comfort-focused Maverick
LARIAT, or the head-turning Maverick LARIAT First Edition.
The Maverick XL
The Maverick XL comes with an 8" Bluetooth touchscreen,
Ford Pass connectivity, its own 4G Wi-Fi hotspot, and two USB ports.
The Maverick XLT
The XLT steps it up with SecuriCode keyless entry, power
mirrors, cruise control, and headlights that come on whenever you turn on your
windshield wipers. The XLT's FLEXBED™ offers 10 tie-down spots, cubby storage,
and a tailgate with a power-lock system.
The Maverick LARIAT
The LARIAT's luxuries begin with Intelligent Access and a
push-button ignition -- no more fumbling in your pocket or your purse for your
key fob. Once you're inside, settle into the eight-way adjustable, power
driver's seat; turn the ambient lighting brighter or dimmer and wrap your
fingers around the leather-wrapped steering wheel.
The LARIAT lets you and your passenger adjust the dual-zone, electronic,
automatic temperature controls to suit your own preferences. The windshield
even reduces exterior noise for you.
