Jacksonville, AR is a great place to live. That’s especially true for sports fans! There are many great stadiums in the area, so keep reading to find out about the best ones.

1. Panther Stadium

Panther Stadium is home to the Cabot Panthers high school football team. This well-appointed stadium has more than 5,000 seats spread across two large grandstands. You can enjoy great views of the field from some of the higher spots.

Panther Stadium lies around 15 minutes away from Jacksonville. It’s a perfect spot to enjoy Friday night games during the fall. Track events also take place here in the summer months.


2. Dickey-Stephens Park

Texas League team the Arkansas Travelers play home games out of Dickey-Stephens Park. This storied team is the double-A affiliate of the Seattle Mariners from Major League Baseball. They’ve been plying their trade in the area since the 1960s and their games provide a great day out for local families.

The stadium itself was built in 2006 and can welcome more than 7,000 fans with almost 5,000 seats available. The grandstand behind home plate offers great views over the field. It should take around 20 minutes to drive from Jacksonville to Dickey-Stephens Park.


3.  Wildcat Field

Wildcat Field is a favorite with local football fans and for good reason. The stadium boasts more than 5,000 seats and has other great facilities too.

It is home to high school teams through the North Little Rock school district, giving you plenty of opportunities to see games here. Wildcat Field is just a 15-minute drive from Jacksonville.


4. James B Abraham Stadium

James B Abraham Stadium is home to the Lonoke High School Jackrabbits teams. Hosting football, soccer, track, and more, it offers sports fans of all stripes the chance to get close to the action.

Located in the town of Lonoke, James B Abraham Stadium is about half an hour’s drive from Jacksonville.


5. Hornet Stadium

Hornet Stadium is around half an hour’s drive from Jacksonville but it’s well worth the trip to enjoy the great facilities here. The home of the Maumelle Hornets high school teams, this stadium hosts both football and soccer. But it doesn’t have a track around the outside of the field, giving it a compact feel and allowing spectators to get close to the action.

Hornet Stadium is located in Maumelle. This venue is sometimes referred to as Bobby Tiner Stadium. If you’re having trouble finding it, just input the different names, as different GPS systems may have it registered differently.
